3 Live Music Venues Near Our Studio

Live music is life.

(SIDE NOTE: So is coffee – check out our blog on our favorite local coffee shops!)

We here at Hughes Fioretti Photography are passionate about live music and supporting our local scene. Sometimes, we even get an opportunity to photograph! Below are 3 live music venues that we frequent.

1. WILL’S PUB

A long-time Mills Ave staple, Will’s Pub is often referred to as “the heart of the Orlando music scene.” For 25+ years they have been serving up brews and showcasing bands, both local heroes and touring acts. The demographic is diverse, and the dive vibe is warm. They are located just down the street from their original location. Oh, and did I mention that they have a photo booth?

2. THE SOCIAL

Formerly Sapphire Supper Club throughout the 90s, it debuted as The Social in 2002. It has served as a springboard for local bands to break into the industry, as well as a home for the touring bands who return year after year. The layout is a huge bonus –  you can see the stage from almost anywhere in the venue. It lives on the iconic strip of Orange Ave that runs through downtown. Also, did you know that they have a photobooth?

3. STARDUST VIDEO AND COFFEE

This spot has shows! While predominantly a coffee shop, Stardust Video and Coffee also features an area with a stage where musicians can groove in an intimate setting. Coffee and tea selections, as well as a full bar, pair nicely with the live music and eclectic atmosphere. FYI, they have a photo booth.
