SOME OTHER QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE:

What kind of headshots do I need as an actor?

We work with aspiring actors who are getting their first professional headshots every week. There are a few factors that affect what kind of headshots you need, the main one being what area of the industry you want to work in. Do you want to work in theater? Are you looking to book commercials? What about film and TV? Each area of the entertainment industry requires a slightly different angle of approach. If you really want to narrow it down, for most actors looking for film and TV work, you will need two types of headshots, commercial and dramatic (sometimes called theatrical). Essentially one where you look pleasant and warm and another more serious.

How many looks are included in a session?

We don’t count the number of looks in a session. Some people need just two, others are looking to get as many as possible. It all comes down to preparation and time. For newer actors getting their first headshots, we tend to get fewer looks as it might take more time to warm up and get comfortable in front of the camera. More experienced actors might get more looks, but not always. It all depends on what your needs are and we will work with you ahead of time to make sure you get what you need. If you are working with an acting coach or an agent, it’s good to ask your coach/mentor/agent what they recommend, that’s a great place to start.

Where does the session take place?

Located in Winter Park right off of the I-4 Fairbanks exit, we are only a 7-minute drive from downtown Orlando and easily accessible from any part of Central Florida. We offer in-studio photography on an appointment basis for our clients as well as location services for an additional fee. Our convenient online scheduling system allows you to schedule headshots right here on the site. If you have a specific need for a location, let us know, but most actors find our studio a convenient way to get the maximum number of looks in the allotted time.
